About the group:
Join Oracle's Open Source Linux development team. Our team patches and enhances the Linux kernel and promotes the adoption of Linux at Oracle and in the industry in general. Our flagship offering is the Unbreakable Enterprise Kernel, a Linux kernel which combines mainline performance and enterprise stability. This kernel was used to tune the kernel to a world-record x86 benchmark in March 2012. Oracle has a longstanding commitment to the success of Linux: Oracle shipped the first commercial database on Linux in 1998, and the formed the Linux development team in 2002. Our core focus since 2002 has been developing open source products and improving the stability and performance of the OS. Most projects for our team are in C, python, and bash shell.
Please email me directly and let's set up a quick phone call to discuss the many challenging opportunities here at Oracle.
